SwipeIntern (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is operated by NexBridge Ventures Pvt. Ltd. We provide an internship discovery and hiring platform for students and employers.

Depending on how you use the platform, we may collect:

• Application materials — resumes, notes, and other content you submit when applying to internships.

• Usage and device data — pages viewed, actions on the product (for example saves and applications), approximate location derived from IP, browser/device type, and diagnostic logs needed to run and secure the service.
• Authentication providers — if you sign in with Google or another connected provider, we receive limited identity information they share with us (such as name, email, and verification status).

We use personal information to:

• Create and manage your account and authenticate access
• Personalize internship feeds, matches, and recommendations
• Enable applications, employer reviews, and hiring workflows
• Send transactional emails (verification, password reset, important account notices)
• Improve product quality, reliability, and security
• Detect abuse, fraud, and policy violations
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use student resumes or profile content to train third-party AI models for unrelated purposes.

We may share information in these situations:

• Employers — when you apply or otherwise choose to share your profile/resume for a posting.
• Service providers — vendors that help us host infrastructure, send email, store media, analyze product usage, or provide authentication (bound by confidentiality and processing obligations).
• Legal and safety — when required by law, or to protect users, our platform, or rights against harm or abuse.
• Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may transfer under continued privacy protections.

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential session/auth functions and, where enabled, product analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand how SwipeIntern is used and improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break sign-in or core features.

We retain account and application data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for legal, security, and operational purposes. You may request deletion of your account; some records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate dispute/fraud prevention needs.

We use industry-standard safeguards (including encrypted transport and hashed passwords). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

SwipeIntern is intended for students and professionals who can form a valid account under applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

SwipeIntern may be accessed from multiple countries. Your information may be processed in India or other locations where we or our service providers operate. By using the service, you understand that your information may be transferred to jurisdictions with different data protection laws than your own.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of SwipeIntern after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
