Terms of Service

Last updated: 5 August 2026

These Terms explain the rules for using SwipeIntern. They are written to support responsible use of Google services, advertising platforms, and user safety. They are not a substitute for legal advice in your jurisdiction.

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and NexBridge Ventures Pvt. Ltd. (“SwipeIntern”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) governing access to and use of the SwipeIntern website, apps, APIs, and related services (the “Service”).

By creating an account, signing in (including with Google or another identity provider), browsing, applying to opportunities, posting internships, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law. The Service is intended for students, graduates, and employers seeking or offering internships. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country). If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with parent/guardian consent where required.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate registration and profile information and keep it updated
  • Keep login credentials confidential and not share your account
  • Notify us promptly of unauthorized use of your account
  • Use Google Sign-In or other providers only if you have the right to authorize that account, and comply with their terms as well as ours

We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that appear fraudulent, abusive, or in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

3. What SwipeIntern provides

SwipeIntern helps users discover internship opportunities, save and organize listings, manage profiles/resumes, and (where enabled) apply or connect with employers. Employer features may include company profiles, postings, applicant review, and related tools.

Important: SwipeIntern is an information and discovery platform. We are not an employer, recruiter, placement agency, or party to any internship or employment agreement between students and employers unless we expressly state otherwise in writing. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, compensation, visa outcomes, or hiring decisions.

4. Listings, third-party content, and accuracy

Internship listings and company information may come from employers on the platform, public career pages, partner sources, aggregators, or other third parties. Content may change or become outdated without notice.

  • We do not warrant that any listing is complete, current, legitimate, or available.
  • You are responsible for verifying opportunity details, eligibility, and application requirements directly with the employer or source site before applying or accepting an offer.
  • Links to third-party websites (including ATS portals, company sites, and apply URLs) are provided for convenience. Their terms and privacy practices govern those sites — not ours.
  • Brand names, logos, and trademarks shown in listings belong to their respective owners and do not imply endorsement unless stated.

5. Your content and license

You retain ownership of content you submit (such as profile text, resumes, notes, company details, and postings) (“User Content”). You grant SwipeIntern a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and process User Content solely to operate, improve, secure, and promote the Service (for example, showing your application to an employer you applied to).

You represent that you have all rights needed to submit User Content and that it does not:

  • Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights
  • Contain malware, illegal material, or deceptive claims
  • Include others’ personal data without a lawful basis to share it

We may remove or restrict User Content that violates these Terms, law, or our safety policies.

6. Acceptable use (Google & platform policy alignment)

To keep SwipeIntern safe and compatible with Google product policies, ad-network policies, and app-store rules, you must not use the Service to:

  • Post or promote illegal activity, scams, phishing, malware, or unauthorized access to systems
  • Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or exploit minors or other users; or share sexual, violent, or hateful content involving minors
  • Misrepresent identity, affiliations, employer status, credentials, or internship offers
  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-export the Service in ways that overload systems or violate robots/rate limits, except as allowed by our written permission or public APIs
  • Circumvent security, access controls, or paywalls; or reverse engineer except where law allows
  • Spam users or employers; buy/sell accounts; or manipulate rankings, reviews, or applications
  • Use the Service for advertising, affiliate schemes, or lead generation that violates Google Ads, AdSense, or other ad-platform prohibited-content rules (including deceptive landing pages, cloaking, malware, or undisclosed paid endorsements)
  • Upload content that violates Google’s / third-party providers’ restricted categories (for example illegal drugs, weapons trafficking, or clear exploitation)

We may investigate violations, remove content, suspend accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement or platform partners when required.

7. Employer-specific terms

If you use employer features, you additionally agree that:

  • Postings describe real internship or early-career opportunities you are authorized to offer
  • You will handle applicant data lawfully, only for recruiting/evaluation related to that opportunity, and in line with applicable privacy laws
  • You will not charge applicants improper fees, request sensitive payment details as a condition of applying, or run pyramid / multi-level marketing schemes disguised as internships
  • Verification status (if shown) does not guarantee legitimacy forever; you remain responsible for your postings and communications

8. Advertising, sponsorships, and monetization

The Service may display advertisements, sponsored placements, affiliate links, or promotional content from SwipeIntern or third parties (including Google advertising products or other ad platforms when enabled).

  • Ads and sponsored items are labeled or otherwise presented so they can be distinguished from organic internship listings where reasonably practicable.
  • Third-party advertisers are responsible for their own creatives, claims, and landing pages. Clicking an ad may take you off SwipeIntern.
  • We may use cookies, pixels, or similar technologies for ad measurement and fraud prevention as described in our Privacy Policy. You can manage browser cookie settings; some ads or features may not work if essential cookies are blocked.
  • We do not endorse every advertiser. Report misleading or policy-violating ads to us so we can review them with our partners.
  • If you are an advertiser or partner, you must comply with applicable ad-platform policies (including Google Ads / AdSense Restricted and Prohibited content policies) and not instruct us to serve inventory that violates those rules.

9. SwipeIntern intellectual property

The Service — including software, design, logos, trademarks (such as SwipeIntern), text, and original compilations — is owned by NexBridge Ventures Pvt. Ltd. or its licensors. Except for the limited rights needed to use the Service, no license is granted. You may not copy, brandjack, or commercially exploit our marks or UI without prior written permission.

10. Third-party services (including Google)

The Service may integrate Google Sign-In, Google Analytics, Cloudinary, email providers, hosting, payment, or advertising partners. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or data handling by third parties beyond our contractual control, except as required by law.

Google account access is optional where alternatives exist. You can revoke SwipeIntern’s access via your Google Account permissions at any time; doing so may limit sign-in until you reconnect or use another method.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, OR THAT LISTINGS, MATCHES, OR RECOMMENDATIONS WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including certain consumer rights).

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEXBRIDGE VENTURES PVT. LTD. AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR OPPORTUNITIES; OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM THIRD-PARTY LISTINGS, EMPLOYER CONDUCT, AD CONTENT, OR OFF-PLATFORM INTERACTIONS.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IN ANY 12-MONTH PERIOD WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THAT PERIOD, OR (B) INR 5,000 (OR EQUIVALENT), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify SwipeIntern and its affiliates against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms or law, or disputes between you and another user or employer — except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for violations, risk to users or platforms (including Google / ad-network policy risk), legal requirements, or prolonged inactivity.

Sections that by nature should survive (including licenses already exercised, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and governing law) survive termination.

15. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service and these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and attempt good-faith resolution for at least 30 days.

17. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any feature-specific notices, are the entire agreement regarding the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization.

For privacy questions, see our Privacy Policy.
